Our Story

Fluss began as a crazy idea born out of a daily frustration: getting in and out of an office with outdated access control. After years of working in software and electrical engineering consulting through re:source design, Tom—along with Tim—decided it was time to make their dumb gate motor smart. That spark led to the creation of the very first Fluss device. When lockdown hit and remote access became essential, we knew: it was time to bring Fluss to the world.

Of course, launching a product isn’t just about building something great and waiting for customers to show up. That’s when Ockie joined the team—a former professional rugby player turned global sales expert- with experience tackling down doors to get to our customers.

Today, with over 50,000+ active users and a growing lineup of products for both consumers and enterprises, Fluss has evolved far beyond that first gate. Our team is growing, our vision is expanding, and we’re excited to serve people all over the world - smarter, faster, and more seamlessly than ever before.
